Healthy SpiritualityIn 2012, Karen Wanjico began to think about helping people who were hurt by faith based groups or leaders that were establishing power and control over their members. She was working as a victim advocate for survivors of relationship violence and could see a parallel between the behavior of high control groups and the behavior of controlling partners in intimate relationships. Just like she wanted to help people create healthy relationships, she began to think about healthy spirituality and how to promote it.
